The D.M.V. gives the government a good excuse to
justify having droves of police patrolling the streets. From what we
have witnessed the police spend about 80% - 90% of their time checking
to see if you have paid your registration/
"protection service" to the D.M.V. For many
years patriots and intellectuals have been sounding the alarm that the
police have become a standing army which is prohibited by the
Constitution. Now that this army is established the police have even
starting to look just exactly the military! Same weapons and same exact

Well, they look like an army. And their even standing around! If that's not a standing army I don't know what is.
